On the May 17th episode of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, SISTAR‘s Hyorin was asked why she had previously mentioned wanting to film ‘We Got Married‘ with Boom. “I was filming an athletics championship, and Boom oppa happened to be the MC,” she said. “He asked what I wanted to do if I won first place, and I said I wanted to film ‘We Got Married’.” “He also asked who I would want to partner with, but I couldn’t think of anyone so I just picked Boom oppa who was standing right next to me,” she explained. Hearing this, U-KISS member Soohyun, who was also a guest on the program with Hyorin, imitated Boom from his facial expressions to his mannerisms, causing laughter on set. Source: Nate + Allkpop |

Singer Huh Gak highly praised Sistar's Hyorin! On the episode of MBC's Golden Fishery - Radio Star that aired on the 16th, Huh Gak picked SISTAR's Hyorin as the idol that can sing well. Google will be hosting a free K-Pop concert on the 21st! Lineup includes DBSK, Super Junior, Girl's Generation, Wonder Girls, Kara, BEAST, MBLAQ, SISTAR and f(x). Tickets to the MBC "Korean Music Wave in Google" concert are free to the public. If you didn't get a ticket, here's your chance! Koreaboo together with other fansites will be providing a shuttle bus. The service costs $125 and include a seat on the bus, food, and a ticket to the concert. Quote Shuttles will leave in the morning from Anaheim, stop at Los Angeles and then go straight to the concert location, in Mountain View, California. The buses will then leave almost immediately after the concert, to save our passengers the money on hotels and to ensure everyone is back early on Tuesday morning for school or work.  'SISTAR has managed to set the record of being the longest lasting album at the top of the Billboard ‘K-Pop Hot 100‘ chart! Since its release, their ‘Alone’ single has been topping the chart for four consecutive rows starting from the week of April 3rd all the way to May 2nd. They’re also still currently at the top of Gaon‘s online streaming and mobile charts, which is a remarkable achievement considering that albums drop like flies off of the charts after about a day or two.
